Seeing Through A Fog PDF Print E-mail

When you are addicted you see through a fog. The drugs effect your thinking and the fog can be so thick.

I thought I could think and do things even though I was high or stoned,  that is what I was use to. My thinking was really off, but I did not know it.  My life was a series of bad choices and really messed up.  The purple haze that is refered to in a song is true. The haze is the drugs effects on your brain, you see things so differently when under the influence .  By  going into treatment for my addiction , and getting away from the drugs , my mind and my heart started to open up. The fog started to lift. I could for the first time in a very long time think clearly and feel good.  My feelings were just as messed up as my thinking, now I can feel what I feel and think healthy.

Get help if you are addicted, right now with your addiction you can't really know how much the drugs have  changed the way you think and feel
