The best love you can give an addict is to get them the help they need . They do not want to be addicted but they can't change or stop the rollercoaster and all the motion that addiction causes. I know first hand, my son was addicted to drugs for years, he couldn't get off the drugs himself. He tried so many times, but he couldn't . Most addicts have to get long term treatment to handle their drug addiction. Thirty days is just not enough, he was in treatment for over four months. The difference was remarkable, he came out the man I knew he could be . He always was a good person but Today he is taking care of his family and enjoying his new life that is drug free. Most addicts are good people that never wanted to be addicted to drugs. MY SON IS MY HERO !!!!! He has had to over come great obsticles to get where he is today. He helps someone everyday with their addiction, and really makes a difference to rid the world of addiction one life at a time
